Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of the Graphic Organizer (GO) technique on non-English majors’ reading comprehension ability. The subjects were 40 non-English majors at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The two types of GO used in the study were sequential and compare-contrast.
The results obtained from the comparison between the pre-test and the post-test scores indicated that this technique could help the students improve their reading comprehension as the difference between the pre-test and the post-test scores were significantly different at p<0.05.
